Last Wrap Up for 2026 Summer Swim Season

Good morning FROGS!! I hope that you got some rest after our big show down yesterday during Divisionals. So, for the last time this season here are a few stats that I think you will enjoy! During Divisionals we swam against Lake Manassas Blue Dolphins and Stonewall Park Seawolves. The Frogs put up an amazing back and forth fight but in the end took second place. The final scores were Blue Dolphins 3757, Frogs 3624 and Seawolves 3334.

The Frogs came with 103 swimmers (143 registered summer swimmers), for 335 entries and 323 splashes giving us a 96% engagement rate. Everyone really committed to this meet giving us a 4% no shows/scratches ratio. Way to make a statement for the last meet!!

We had 185 swims that showed improvement giving us a 55% rate for Divisionals. Way to go, keeping with the continued improvements to the very end of the season. Divisional’s top five female high point scorers (Divisionals) were: Ashley George, Bella Karrasch, Justis Fanion, Scarlett Corrigan, and Anai Mensah. Divisional's top five male point scorers (Divisionals) were: Jasper Corrigan, Evan Ward, London Wellington, Mohammed Samren, Ayden Green, and Jacoby Fanion.

Something special that occurs at the end of the season is the PWSL Cyber Meet and in years past the Frogs bring back a few ribbons. Well, this year the Frogs really showed up! Dale City Frogs came in 18th place out of 24 teams in the league. We took home 25 Top 24 ribbons thanks to the following swimmers: Jasper Corrigan, Jet Corrigan, Scarlett Corrigan, Jacoby Fanion, Ashley George, Ayden Green, Macie Jackson, Bella Karrasch, Jackson Murphy, Anai Mensah, Mohammed Samren, Evan Ward, and London Wellington! So, congratulate these swimmers this evening when you see them!

The Frogs worked so hard this season through some ups and downs they always put their best leaps forward. Summer swim is all about fun, community, working hard and swimming hard, so I hope you all have gotten that from this season. Until next summer, let’s keep UNLEASHING THE FROGS!!
